Easy Refresh May Be For You

It’s that time of the year again. Time when you may be thinking about facial cosmetic surgery to get a jump start on the looking young and refreshed campaign for the year! Perhaps some of you may be thinking or thought about getting eyelid surgery. If it’s in the back of your mind, I’ll give you some food for thought.

First of all, out of all the cosmetic surgeries I perform, eyelid surgery is the one most easily tolerated by patients. The average downtime is only 7 days, and you get quite a bit of bang for your buck when it comes to rejuvenating the entire face, just by freshening up the eyelids. Bruising around the eyes is common, and the length of time the bruising stays around depends on the individual’s ability to heal. I do like to use arnica montana – a natural supplement to decrease bruising.

Most of you can tell when it’s time to tighten up those lids. You look in the mirror and you may see excess skin overhanging the upper eyelids, or you may see puffy lower eyelids often times giving a tired appearance. One or both of these can be undesirable, and esthetically unpleasant. However, the correction for these is typically not a big ordeal.

Procedure time for each eyelid is approximately one hour. You will be asleep, dreaming about the eyelids of Bridgitte Bardot or Jessica Lange (in King Kong) and before you know it, you will wake up with new eyes. From there, it’s ice packs and a few days of rest (no working out or other strenuous activity for about one week), and you will see the transformation every day you look in the mirror. All incisions for this procedure are hidden such that nobody will know what happened to you. They will simply think you look “refreshed” or “rejuvenated”.

So come on in for a consult! You won’t regret you did it.

Thank you very much for reading.
