A Personal Note From Dr. Kim About Cosmetic Surgery

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to learn about facial cosmetic surgery. It is my intention to provide you the best care that I can to obtain your cosmetic goals. Whether it be injecting Botox into your forehead, or providing you with a mini-facelift/necklift to erase those unwanted jowls and “turkey neck”, I will do my absolute best to help you. I have formal training in facial cosmetic surgery and am confident that I can achieve what you’re looking for. That being said, I would like to share some history and personal thoughts with you.

You may have researched on-line just what an oral and maxillofacial surgeon does. You may have seen things like: wisdom teeth removals, dental implants, bone grafting, orthognathic surgery, TMJ surgery, facial trauma, and some include facial cosmetic surgery. Yes, although we do many procedures in the mouth and non-cosmetic procedures of the jaws and face, many of us do perform facial cosmetic surgery procedures. I elected to pursue additional hospital based facial cosmetic surgery training in the form of a fellowship following residency because I just flat out loved it so much. And after the additional training, I came to find out that I loved it even more than when I started!

I have a great passion for facial cosmetic surgery, not just for performing the surgery but also for the results. This passion started decades ago and my devotion to this type of surgery has grown as time has passed. There are many of you out there who just want to talk with someone about bothersome or troublesome areas of your face and neck. I would enjoy sitting down with you, meet you, and speak with you about what you’re striving for. Perhaps you are not too serious about surgery yet, but just want to discuss. Great! You can make a consultation appointment and you can bounce your ideas off of me. It will require time out from your day, but then I will be able to advise you if I can help you. If so, we can go from there, and get into details about the procedure. There are no obligations or pressure tactics to do anything. It will be my pleasure to help you accomplish that more youthful look you’re striving for.

I know that walking into a doctor’s office can be intimidating, but I want to assure you that you need not be afraid. We are a welcoming group of people who truly want you to have a pleasant experience, even if it is just sitting and talking. So, if you’ve been thinking about facial cosmetic surgery, I would like to invite you to come on in for a conversation and you can speak openly what’s been on your mind. At the very least, you will receive some education about the procedure you desire. You won’t regret it.

It would be an honor if you would trust me to be your surgeon,

      Dr. Kim
